Hello folks;

Okay, it's been a long, long time since I've been able to post anything. Sorry about that. It's difficult to stay on top of everything when you're responsible for the day-to-day operations of the theatre, directing a show, doing a lighting design and producing a show.

Not that I'm complaining - I love my job! But sometimes I just don't get to everything as much as I would like. At any rate, here are a couple of things that have come across my desk, plus an update on The Diary of Anne Frank...

Gearing Up for a Global Adventure

We're just under a week from the opening of our second show of the 2009/2010 theatre season, Around the World in 80 Days, and even as the cast & crew work extremely hard to get this show ready, we are cognisant of recent world events.

We encourage you to support any of the multitude of relief organizations you feel appropriate, however, Gallery 7 Theatre would like to shine a spotlight on MCC Disaster Relief and their efforts to bring emergency support to those in Haiti. You can call them at 604-850-6639 for information on how you can help.

In the meantime, the show must go on, and I hope that you've already purchased your tickets. If not, better get on it! :) We selected Around the World in 80 Days because of its fun. It's a story of adventure and is a tongue-in-cheek thrill-ride that captures the essence of the explorer's spirit. Around the World in 80 Days also inspires us to rise to the challenges life lays in our path. It's gonna be great!
