The 2010 Olympics and a bad economy: two huge, seemingly diametrically opposed realities.  And yet, such fertile soil from which to grow a new season of theatre.

This year, we are celebrating the Olympic spirit of excellence as athletes from around the world pursue their dreams of gold in Vancouver/Whistler.  These athletes, passionate and disciplined individuals, have undoubtedly overcome significant challenges to showcase their talents before an international audience.  Their story is an inspiration to us all.

But we also want to celebrate the pursuit of excellence and accomplishment in light of our own, more personal challenges - dealing with a hard economy, providing for family, overcoming the pressures of everyday life, encountering God, exploring the 'bigger picture'...

With this in mind, I have selected an all-new season of theatre I hope will bring a refreshing and entertaining spin on the hardships of life and the challenges we face nearly every day.  Some stories on the playbill are light-hearted romps, soothing antidotes to the rigors of life.  Others are more contemplative, more challenging explorations of the human experience.  They are inspiring examinations of life that leads to new understanding.

We find ourselves in a time where community is becoming increasingly more important.  There are few other better places to experience community than the theatre, where people come together to have their spirits refreshed, their minds challenged, and their souls nourished.

Join us for our 19th annual "Rise to the Challenge" theatre season.  Once again, you can experience the entire playbill at big discounts by purchasing a season's pass.  You don't have to select the performance dates ahead of time, making a season's pass a slam-dunk, don't miss, opportunity to experience quality entertainment with heart, soul AND mind.  To order your season passes, please click here.

We also appreciate your continued financial support. If you'd like to make a donation to help us meet our financial goals and dreams, or to help us build our reserve fund, please click here or call me at the office at 604-504-5940.
