But her plans are stymied when Elizabeth, upon hearing not-so-kind comments from the surly and morose Mr. Darcy, develops a hostility towards the man. Can the two overcome their personal pride and the prejudice they feel towards each other and discover true love? This lavish production is a faithful adaptation of the Austen favourite filled with comedy, wit and charm.

This favourite musical extravaganza follows the Biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. After being sold in to slavery by his jealous brothers, Joseph gains favour with Potiphar, the Egyptian noble, before rejecting the amorous advances of Potiphar’s wife. Joseph winds up in jail where he discovers an ability to interpret dreams. His new-found talent catches the attention of the Elvis-inspired Pharaoh, and Joseph is promoted to right hand man. But during a famine, his family needs his help and Joseph is forced to decide whether to forgive or take revenge. A Message from our Artistic Director

We’re pulling out all the stops for an incredible season of classic stories sure to delight, entertain and inspire. All of the shows in our 28th annual season of theatre explore love and family in some shape or form, and all of them promise to bring joyous levity to your lives. But there’s lots here for the soul and mind too – themes that will challenge our way of thinking, encourage us in our faith, and inspire us to greatness.

You’ll notice that this season’s plays are either literary or theatrical classics that have become icons in our collective experience or delve in to familiar themes that make them classic. We hope to explore these well-known stories with fresh eyes and through the lens of our modern experience. I suspect that we’ll quickly discover universal truths that transcend time in each of these shows, underscoring why these stories earn classical status in the first place.

Decide right now to invest in your heart, soul and mind by purchasing season passes. Not only do you guarantee your seat to a whole year of quality, inspiring and thought-provoking entertainment, you’ll save big bucks too! If you’re so inclined, please also consider adding a tax-deductible donation to your subscription – your extra assistance ensures we can continue telling meaningful stories that make a difference well in to the future.

Let’s get back to classics – see you at the theatre!
