Be Transformed

A Message from our Artistic Director

Old classics, new tales, a Canadian work to celebrate our nation’s 150th birthday…there’s something for everyone in our 2016/2017 season!
Whimsy, adventure, comedy and tragedy are important attributes of our exciting new playbill, but I would say “transformation” is the thematic thread that binds everything together.

Each entertaining story to come this season contains some kind of transformation. Whether it be growing into an adult, experiencing a new revelation, being freed from a terrible spell or rediscovering a sense of self and purpose in life, I believe you’re in for a transformative experience that is sure to inspire, encourage and challenge.
Here at Gallery 7 Theatre, we believe theatre should be highly entertaining. We also believe it should be inspirational, provocative and meaningful. Through our productions, our mission is to explore the spiritual, relational and social aspects of the human experience with a vision towards hope, reconciliation and redemption. I believe the theatre experiences lined up for 2016/2017 fit this mandate like a glove.
But don’t take my word for it. Experience the joy and the power of live theatre at Gallery 7 for yourself. Join us for a season of theatre for the heart, soul and mind.

Be transformed!

Ken Hildebrandt
Executive/Artistic Director
